About Me – Ashley Seanger – The Glamour Ranch

A passion for makeup. A love of hair. And a desire for deep client connection.

Those are the three things that drove me to begin this Bridal Beauty Business back in 2018… I’ll be honest, I always thought this would be a side hustle, a way to connect with people outside of a traditional 9-5. A creative outlet if you will.

What I found instead? My calling. A dream. The reason I wake up every Friday and Saturday before the sun even dreams of getting out of bed. And I gotta be honest, my loves… it was never my plan, but I know it my heart it was always HIS plan – if ya know what I mean.

So what should I tell you about me? Gosh – I don’t even know where to begin.

In 2012 I picked up my first brush, working as a consultant at my local Clinique counter – zero experience, zero knowledge, but a whole lot of desire to learn. I knew I liked makeup and makeup artistry, but I didn’t know the first thing about products, skincare, or color matching.. If you knew me in 2012 you also know that I didn’t believe in filling in my eyebrows, and the overall look? VERY 2012. Let’s just leave it at that. Hahahaha

WE ALL START SOMEWHERE.

Okay – so what changed? Well.. I decided I WANTED to learn all of the things. I had a real thirst for knowledge, and I became a sponge – absorbing and learning everything related to makeup and skincare. I fell in love with the client experience of teaching clients how to achieve the results they were seeking, and showing them how to create those desired looks in the comfort of their home.

Fast forward to working for Estée Lauder and learning about color theory, expanding my artistry – all the way to being recruited as a makeup artist for ULTA Beauty – I began to learn new brands, exciting new techniques, and the importance of ingredients, and the science behind why products do and do not work well together. A lot of growth, a lot of learning.

In 2018, I had a few friends getting married. Not knowing where to turn to get their makeup done for their events, they reached out to me… We made it work. I fell in love with the hustle and bustle of the wedding morning, I was enamored with the process of getting to know the bridesmaids and creating a curated look for each of them. I didn’t know it then… but my sights would quickly shift from my 9-5, to a life of entrepreneurship.

By the end of 2019, I was full time in the bridal world. Elbows deep in shadow, contour, and glitter. It was the start of something incredible. The start of a crazy ride – in the best way.

Fast forward to today, a couple hundred weddings later, an incredible team, and countless bridal suite stories. THIS is my passion. Making memories with you, bringing your vision to life, hearing your love stories.

It’s all a gift, a true and unbelievable gift. And I’m grateful to each and every client, vendor, and small biz owner I’ve met along the way.

Each member of my team brings a wealth of beauty knowledge, a desire to constantly learn and grow, and a love of deep interpersonal connections and relationships. They’re all entrepreneurs, talented artisans, and busy mommas.

They go above and beyond to make time for our incredible clients, they actively listen to your requests, they offer guidance where needed, and always show up in a really big way.

I’ve elected to keep my bridal team small, intimate, petite. This ensures that I can guarantee you’re getting the best care possible, and I can assure you that my team cares as deeply as I do. These girls will work diligently to ensure your day is incredible, and I trust them completely – I hope you will too!
